A vintage rug in walnut, taupe, and softened cream, its scrolling floral field worn down to a low, even pile that reads almost like a drawing of the original pattern. The palette is quiet enough to layer under nearly anything — we'd use it in an entry or under a coffee table where the patina can be appreciated up close, with plenty of rug pad underneath.
