About
Joey Snow
Founder, Owner & Principal Designer
Joey Snow is a creative, interior designer, and purveyor of quality decor—but, above all, she is a mother of four who deeply understands the role of home in family life.
Joey Snow Design Co. is an interior design studio based in Carlsbad, California, specializing in European-inspired, timeless interiors with a coastal California feel. Founded in 2020, Joey and her team of six design new builds and whole-home renovations across San Diego County, Orange County, and the Conejo Valley—thirteen completed homes are toured in the studio’s portfolio, with more than a dozen more in progress. Each project is reflective of a process that transcends style, making room—literally and figuratively—for joy, meaning, and togetherness in the lives of her clients. Her work celebrates family and functionality, harkening back to a time when design was as much about utility as beauty, and has been featured on The Haven List and recognized with a 5.0 rating and four awards on Houzz.
In the years prior to launching her interior design studio in Carlsbad, Joey had already built a thriving salon business from the ground up. Her success stemmed from the experience she created for her clients—an inherent gift she’s translated to her work in interiors. Her namesake studio and shop are her favorite places to be, surrounded by artful objects and her hand-picked team. When she's not working, you can find her working out on the beach or enjoying her own home alongside her family.
We create space for connection.
“What I loved the most about working with Joey is that she paid such close attention to what was important to me. The result was beautifully reimagined spaces full of all of the elements I love. I could not have done it without her and yet she created living spaces that reflect and feel 100% me. She is incredibly talented and I highly recommend her.”
