Vintage Batter Bowl - White

An enormous vintage stoneware batter bowl in soft white — seven and a half quarts, thirty cups, with a pour spout that means it was built to work. Bowls at this scale have mostly disappeared from kitchens, which is exactly why one on a counter or island looks so right: filled with fruit, holding rising dough, or empty and glowing.
