A very large, low metal bowl in deep bronze-brown with a subtly hammered surface, raised on a small foot. Nineteen inches across, it fills the center of a dining table or coffee table by itself — pears in fall, nothing in summer. The dark metal grounds pale rooms the way a vintage vessel does.
