An extra-large confit jar in a soft matte gris, with the traditional lugged shoulders and a glazed interior in warm honey — the form French kitchens used for a century to keep duck confit through the winter. Ours does gentler work: utensils by the range, branches on a floor, or nothing at all on a big open shelf.
